I've been reading a lot of comic books lately... and as every comics fan knows, a character isn't dead until you see a corpse-- and sometimes not even then.

This new coloring style is just an experiment... I probably won't be continuing it. In retrospect it could probably use a few good highlights. But it fit the look of this strip, with the uninked pencil lines and abundance of hatching. It's good every so often to draw something that looks super-cool when it's just lineart, before coloring and so on comes in to gussy it up all fancy-like. But I'm often frustrated by how much detail is lost when the comic is shrunk to a mere 600 pixels across, then compressed to as near 100KB I can get before the image really falls apart. This one's 120KB. As is my custom when I feel slighted by the web delivery, I present you with a larger version of panel 1. This STILL isn't as big as the original, which is sized to print out page-size at 300dpi. But it's a lot better than the teeny thig you got here.

Lame's taking Mondays for a while. I get my weekends back. Yay!
