Arrrrrrrgh I HATE Red.

Okay, let me explain that. These comics use JPEG compression to make the image small enough to put online. JPEG is a lossy compression method, which means that it DESTORYS data to make things smaller. For some reason, it tends to DESTROY things that are colored red moreso than any other color, which totally sucks when your image has a lot of red in it. Like, say, if one of your main characters has a red shirt, or if you do a super-cool color effect using red.

So that's why this week's comic is so big, filesize wise.

Let's see... what else can I pick out that I don't like? Arrows in panel 1 are questionable, Annie is off-model in 3 (HA! Like we have model sheets) and panel 4 is really not visually interesting. I have no idea what's up with the hands there. Panel 2 is super-cool though.

Maybe I should adopt a self-rating system like Mac Hall. I'd be afraid to see what numbers I'd give myself...
